Chris Hargas and Farmer Billy Hills remind me of the old Katy Perry song Hot n Cold. "We fight, we break up. We kiss, we make up." These two popular stars on the Stride Pro Wrestling roster have been in tag team competition more than once. But they've also come to blows more than once.

The most recent drama developed at the Stride show at John A. Logan College in August. The two joined forces with Daniel Eads against the DR Party. After standing tall in victory, something happened between Farmer and Hargas. I didn't catch what that was exactly, but the two had a very heated exchange and a cocky and confident Hargas left the building.

You may remember at Brave the Storm in spring 2017, Hargas and Farmer battled for the right to pick a partner and face the then Stride Pro Wrestling tag team champions Maximum Overdrive. Farmer won that match, which was considered by most a friendly competition. However, I fear the friendship is done and these two will come to blows.

We know each man is tougher than a two dollar steak. Farmer has had some classic brawls with the likes of Roger Matheus, Ax Allwardt and Wraith. Hargas gave Matheus his first pinfall loss in Stride, buried Red Daniels alive in late 2017 and picked up the Legacy Title. He had to surrender the belt after getting injured. But since his return, he's had a renewed fire. Will those flames be put out by Farmer or will Hargas put Billy out to pasture?

You can see this match and several others this Saturday night. Stride Pro Wrestling joins forces with the Carterville Lions Club for the Free Fair Faceoff. Bell time is 6:30 p.m. at the Carterville Community Center. We'll see you there.
