VIDEO: MSSGA: Make Survivor Series Great Again

@kevinhunsperger & @my123cents on Twitter

The early years of the Survivor Series are without a doubt my favorite. The reason is simple, every match was an elimination match, which is what the original concept of the event was. Even in 1991 when they added a WWF Championship match, I was cool with it. But then in 1992 Survivor Series jumped the shark.

In more recent years, even though the elimination matches have returned, I'm not a huge fan brand vs. brand without any sort of stakes. So take a look at the two videos I've recently done. Share your thoughts on my ideas.

@kevinhunsperger & @my123cents on Twitter

The Goobledly Gooker is one of pro wrestling most awesomely bad gimmicks. Since it's Thanksgiving season, I decided to talk more about the angle and drink a wonderful Thanksgiving-themed beer on the latest Wrestling Under the Influence. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

AUDIO: The Interview with Garrett Turner

@kevinhunsperger & @my123cents on Twitter

It’s easy to boo the bad guys (and women) we see in the wrestling ring. But everyone who steps through those ropes has a backstory. That’s what I aim to learn more about with a new feature called The Interview.
My first subject, Garrett Turner. He’s better known as Dexter Roswell in Stride Pro Wrestling. In 2017, Garrett came out and a recent interview by One37PM with NXT signee Jake Atlas prompted me to ask Garrett to talk about his experiences coming out. You can listen here. I hope you enjoy the show.

AUDIO: AAPW Resurrection

@kevinhunsperger & @my123cents on Twitter

About seven years ago, All American Pro Wrestling had its final show. It seemed the company had faded away forever. But that's not the case. On Saturday, Dec. 7, Stride Pro Wrestling presents AAPW Resurrection. It's all for a good cause, as our friend Dan 'Curly' Summers is battling medical issues right now.

Several blasts from the AAPW past will be on hand. You can listen to the details in this week's My 1-2-3 Cents podcast right here. You can get tickets for the show here.
