I write this blog as an objective wrestling journalist and not to upset any fans or especially the man I'm writing about, Cash Borden. Cash is one of the toughest, passionate and popular stars on the Stride Pro Wrestling roster. He's also someone I truly could see having his talents showcased on a national stage.

However, Cash has been on a losing streak of sorts. His last victory for lack of a better word was a tainted one when yours truly was the special guest referee back in April. Cash pinned Roger Matheus after a low blow and a fast count. Since then, Cash lost the cage match in May against four others for the number one contendership for the Legacy Title.

Matheus beat Cash and Cole James in June in a triple threat match and again pinned Cash in a singles match in August. A week later, Matheus prevailed again in a fatal four way by pinning Cash to earn the right to face Abyss in October.

I don't know what's going on with Cash. He seems hellbent on beating the crap out of Matheus, which he's accomplished. Despite the loses, he's gone toe to toe with one of the toughest competitors to step into a Stride ring. Find out who is next for Cash this Saturday night at the Carterville Free Fair Faceoff. Bell time is at 6:30 at the Carterville Community Center.'
