I wish this was a post about the campy 60's song by Bobby "Boris" Pickett, but instead I'm talking about the Monster Mash Battle Royal on ECW.  It was a part of the show back in 2007.  Great Khali, Kane, Big Daddy V, and Mark Henry all participated in this special attraction.

Four men, even though they are big men, don't make much of a battle royal.  I'm still not sure why they only went with this idea.  Why not add the Undertaker, Big Show, and Umaga into the mix.  The ironic thing about this battle royal was the only ECW guy in it (Big Daddy V) was the first man eliminated from this ECW event.  Thankfully the total time on the match was less than 8 minutes.  Henry actually won this one.  It was a prelude of what we were to see in the future.

Mark Henry wins it all!

During the course of  the match Joey Styles (who I love on commentary) stated this was the first annual Monster Mash Battle Royal.  And lucky for us, it was the only.   Okay, enough bashing, since it was so close to Halloween, it only made sense to do something like this.  I just wish they would have used more guys in it.  There were plenty of monsters in the company at that time.
