Few could argue that the Undertaker has had one of the most storied careers in the history of wrestling.  Multi-time world champion, Royal Rumble winner, and the owner of an 19 and 0 unbeaten streak at Wrestlemania.

So it doesn't seem like there's much more the dead man could need or want.  But I do have a wish for the Undertaker.  Retirement.  He's earned it.  We haven't seen or heard from him since April after his grueling match up with Triple H at Wrestlemania 27.  That match up put him at 19 and 0.  My vote would be bring him back after the first of the year to build up to his 20th Mania appearance.  And I'd make it his last.  Win or lose, declare it the end of an era for the Undertaker.

The unfortunate thing about the situation is right now, I believe John Cena is the ONLY wrestler on the WWE roster that the company has built up enough to pose a legitimate threat to the streak.  I don't want to see the streak end, but I at least want to see someone in there against him who has the potential to beat him.  The WWE hasn't really developed anyone at this point.  Look back at his last three Wrestlemanias.  At 25 and 26 he faced Shawn Michaels, a more than 20 year veteran at that point, then at 27 it was Triple H, another veteran.  While I don't think it needs to be an alumni of NXT or Tough Enough being groomed for that role, it would have been nice if someone like Cody Rhodes or Dolph Ziggler or John Morrison get a bit of the rub and built up into that position.

With a lot of fans speculating this could be Taker's last Mania the buzz is surrounding more veterans like Mick Foley, Kane, and Brock Lesnar.  Personally, I'd rather see someone Undertaker hasn't faced before or at least not at a Wrestlemania.  We're running out of time and options at this point, but whoever it is, I hope the Undertaker decides to put his career to rest.  He deserves to go out on top and before it's too late.  I'd like to see him standing tall at the end of his match in Miami, head held high knowing that for more than 20 years he dominated every man he stepped into the ring with on the biggest stage of them all.
