30 days and counting

It's been far too long since the last Stride Pro Wrestling show (June 2 in Christopher, Illinois) But I am excited to announce Stride returns in 30 days. On Saturday night, August 4 your favorite wrestlers (and Heath Hatton) will be battling it out in the squared circle. At this time, the plan is to have the show back at the Illinois Star Centre Mall. But as they say, card (or location) subject to change.

All three Stride Pro Wrestling championships will be defended. Tony Flood regained the heavyweight title at Stride Goes Steel in May. Jay Spade has enacted his rematch clause and will get that opportunity to become Stride's first three-time heavyweight champion.

The Midwest Monster Hunters also get another shot at tag team glory. This time though, Blaine Black will join Bo Sawyer as the duo attempts to take the titles away from Ax Allwardt and Heath Hatton. Black has never wrestled for Stride before, as Jason Tiller has been Sawyer's usual partner. I've been watching him online though and he's going to bring an air of unpredictability to this matchup.

And Stride's Legacy Champion Wraith puts his championship on the line against Arron Brooks. Wraith retained the title at our last show against CJ Jordan. Brooks, as Brookspool, won the number one contendership five-man steel cage match in May. He's promised to bring Venom Brookspool to the show that night. I can't wait to see this character and this match.
