Bo Sawyer is a newcomer to Stride Pro Wrestling, making his debut with the company in a tag team match last month. He and Frank Wyatt took on the popular duo of Arron Brooks and Joey O'Riley. Despite more than doubling the size of their opponents, Sawyer and Wyatt found themselves on the losing end. However, they walked away from the ring; O'Riley wasn't so lucky.

In what can only be described as a fit of frustration, the monstrous duo battered both Brooks and O'Riley after the match. O'Riley took the brunt of the beat down. It was so bad, he wasn't able to walk back to the locker room without assistance. Brooks scooped his partner onto his shoulders and carried him. The sign of a true friend and partner no doubt.

So that attack has rendered O'Riley unable to return to tonight's fundraiser event at Christopher Elementary School. A one on one match has been signed between Sawyer and Brooks. Can the smaller man prevail once again? Sawyer says no way and a war is coming to Stride. He also mocked Brooks fandom of superheroes. In a promo on the Stride Pro Wrestling Facebook page, Sawyer wraps things up by warning Brooks he's going to "welcome you to Shotgun City."

Sawyer is new to Stride but has been around for years. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. But don't underestimate the ability of Brooks. He is a hard worker and like he and Joey have proven before, it's not always the biggest that is the best. This match will be a great clash of styles. Remember, bell time is 7 p.m.
