New Year, new me yada, yada

I lost two whole pounds. Woo-hoo!

It's that time of year once again that I make some bold goals for the new year. And once again Operation Find My Abs will be on that list. 2016 started off strong for me, I hit the gym four to five times a week and I started eating healthy. But by late spring I derailed and the rest as they say is history.

First run of 2017
One thing I did stay consistent with is my running. As of New Year's morning, I've run at least one mile a day for 245 days. My 2016 total 658.5 miles. Not bad, but not as much as I ran in 2015 (but I did a half and full marathon that year). I enjoy running and will keep the streak alive for as long as I can, but I am also recommitting to getting to the gym and eating healthier. I'm also a part of a Snapchat accountability group headed by "Coach" Chad Williams. My abs are there, I just hope to find them.

Blogger at work!
Fitness is always a top priority, but so is expanding my brand. My 1-2-3 Cents grew over 2016 in terms of the freelance blogging. My goal for 2017 is to take things to the next level. The plan is to grow the blog, podcast and YouTube channel. By the end of the year, this site should have more than one million hits. My blogging streak here just reached day 220. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported all my endeavors. New projects are coming in 2017 including more with the Craftbeericans. Stay tuned, it's going to be a great year.
