Is the Big Easy too easy?

After a couple of weeks of speculation, WWE has officially announced WrestleMania 34 will "emanate from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, April 8, 2018." It'll be the second time in four years that Sports Entertainment's (yeah I said it) biggest event will be held in the Big Easy.

Chad and I have been to nine of the last 11 WrestleManias. We are skipping Orlando this year, although I would love to still attend if some sort of 11th-hour deal is brokered. I mostly want to go back to Orlando (we were there for WrestleMania 24 in 2008) because the brick and mortar Hall of Fame is supposed to be ready by then. Plus Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson are doing a live version of Something to Wrestle With Bruce Prichard. Also, I love Orlando and having another chance to check out Disney World and/or Universal Studios.

I'm not overly impressed with the rumored card for this year, but Mania is more about the weekend and the atmosphere. But is returning to the same location a bad thing? I can understand why fans would like to see the show in other locations. However, if I had to return to a city for WrestleMania I would definitely pick New Orleans (right after Orlando). They're both awesomely fun places to be and the stadiums impressed me.

Being a St. Louis native and currently living two hours from the Gateway to the West, I'd obviously love to see Mania there one day, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Another spot I'd love to go is Las Vegas. WrestleMania IX looked amazing on camera, and I've never been to Vegas. I'd also like to visit Los Angeles again, so hopefully once the Rams new stadium is built, Mania will become a contender.

WrestleMania has certainly become big business and you can't blame New Orleans for wanting another piece of that pie. In 2014, WrestleMania XXX brought in $142.2 MILLION for the city. That's a lot of money for less than a week of activities.

Where would you like to see WrestleMania in the future? And have you made plans to attend 33 or 34 yet?
