On September 3, 2010 I sat down at my computer and created this blog. My friend Jeff Rose had encouraged me to start a wrestling site. Because I had written a blogs before on WordPress and good ol' MySpace, I knew what I was doing. It was about taking the time to share meaningful content and stay consistent.
The first post... |
The blog started off originally just about wrestling. I discovered that people for some reason have an interest in my life, so I started adding posts about the angst I experienced as a teenager. There are also blogs about my family, pop culture and other random topics. It's been a good balance and even though it breaks the conventional blogging practices of creating a niche and sticking to it, I'm proud of what I've accomplished.
I'm grateful to everyone who has read My 1-2-3 Cents, shared it or commented on it. I'm also appreciative to my friends who have written posts to here. Chad of course has been the most consistent and some of his blogs rank among the most read here. More on that in a moment.

I feel like My 1-2-3 Cents has grown from that .blogspot to an actual website. Shortly after I created this, I made a YouTube channel and became a partner with them. I'm still trying to figure out ways to get those videos in front of more people. Last last year I was invited to create a podcast under the My 1-2-3 Cents moniker on the Jittery Monkey Podcasting Network. I'm thankful to Greg Mehochko for that opportunity. Just a few months ago, I've expanded my blogging beyond this site and have been doing freelance work for others. I want to go from opinions about wrestling to more news about the business and interactive features. Stay tune, there's more to come!
Thank you all!
