On January 1, I posted a blog about how running had made me fat.  That post caught the eye of a friend of mine, Tyler.  I met him years ago when I was doing commentary for All American Pro Wrestling and he was one of the company's top wrestlers.  We've stayed in touch through the years and recently he reached out to me with an offer.

Tyler in action
Tyler works at Gold's Gym and has helped transform the lives of many people over the years. Now I'm on that list of makeovers.  It's only day one, but I'm ready.  We met this morning for a workout and a talk about nutrition.  Some of the things he told me I knew, but he also gave me some good information.

"Abs start in the kitchen."  I'm eating every three or four hours now and cutting out sugar as much as possible.  I've already started stocking up on healthier snacks like almonds and nuts.  Raw vegetables and fresh fruit won't have time to expire anymore.  I'm determined more now than ever to make 2016 the year of the abs.  Tyler says we'll find them by June.  I'll keep you posted.
