Happy anniversary Pro Wrestling Tees

One year ago Pro Wrestling Tees opened a brick and mortar store in Chicago. While I've yet to make the five+ hour road trip there, I have shopped their online store a few times in the past. I'm also the proud proprietor of a Pro Wrestling Tees store on the website. Right now the Mondo the Monkey shirt is the only available design, but this upcoming week I'm hoping to change that.

Because it's the anniversary the company is celebrating by offering you savings. Shopping between Friday, Oct. 12 (at noon CST) until noon on Monday, Oct. 15 you'll save 20 percent with the promo code RETAIL. Every order will get a free ProWrestling Crate overstock wrestler-autographed 8x10 too.

You can shop here for Mondo. And I've been told (I haven't done it yet) choose the 'soft-style' option, it's worth it. As always, I'm humbled by the support I've been shown so far with the store and even earlier with this blog and YouTube channel. I'm grateful. Thank you all.

New shirt, woo-hoo

About a month ago, I opened a store on the Pro Wrestling Tees site. I've been debating making the move for years. At one time, they had an option for podcasters to have a store if they had a combined following of 5,000 people on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. As I was nearing that mark, the requirement doubled to 10,000 OR a $75 fee.

Seventy-five bucks did not seem like much but for some reason, I put off the decision for more than a year. I've already declared 2018 the year of branding and marketing My 1-2-3 Cents. Over the summer I invested in a customized 'monkey suit' from Shinesty. It was money well spent as I've worn the suit out several times and attracted attention for the brand.

Right now the store is small. I have one shirt design but have sold a handful of shirts already. So far all the purchases have been from friends of mine. I can have up to four designs right now until I sell 25 or more shirts. I'm working with my brother and niece on more as we speak. I'd love for someone I've never met to buy a shirt. I'm also exploring other ways to market the shirts via influencer marketing.

As we enter the final quarter of 2018 next week, I'm sprinting to the finish line. I'm excited to see what's next for the brand. The support has been amazing. If you'd like to pick up a shirt, shop here. Thank you to everyone.

A few months ago I posted a blog about not only supporting indy wrestling by attending show and cheering but also by picking up merchandise from your favorite local wrestlers. Doing so doesn't line the pockets of some corporation, instead, it helps the men and women who bust their ass in the ring for little money. Here's the original link to the Stride Pro Wrestling stars and how you can support them by getting some of their merch.

Legacy Champion Tony Flood has come up with a great idea for a teeshirt. The red shirt has white letters with the phrase "Tony Flood is _________. " The beauty is you the fan can complete the sentence. And if you don't have a marker, don't worry. Flood sells Sharpies for a buck on the night of the show. So you can pick up the shirt and a marker for $16 total. If you're an XL, it's just $18.

I've seen fans buy these shirts and come up with different things to say about the Northern Saint. The sentence ends with everything from "my son" (Tony's mom, duh) to "awesome" (I don't think that was a relation) to "a loser" (Heath Hatton). So if you want to grab one of these shirts, reach out to Tony on social media or come out to the next Stride Pro Wrestling show which is set for Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Illinois Star Centre Mall. Bell time is 6:30 p.m. Oh yeah and it's Buried Alive with Chris Hargas vs. Red Daniels.
