THIS THURSDAY, DON'T MISS THE FINAL MOMENTS OF IMPACT FOR THE MOST SHOCKING SURPRISE OF THE YEAR - GUARANTEED!!!
I don't want to be a kill joy and a stick in the mud, but how is Sting showing up the most shocking surprise of the year? And since it's only February, that's not saying much for the next 10 months, is it?
To me a shock would have been Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, or Vince McMahon himself signing with the company. Or it would have been shocking if Sting showed up on Raw the other night or had ever worked for the WWE. But he didn't. And WWE never publicly mentioned any plans for the former WCW and TNA heavyweight champion.
Plus, a lot of people were speculating it was Sting after the initial postings started Thursday. Since he wasn't a part of the big angle Monday night on Raw, the only logical thing would be for him to show up in TNA.
I'll be honest, I wanted to see one last hoorah for the Stinger in the WWE. It would have been cool to see him in a couple of matchups against the company's top stars. But it's not meant to be. And I'm not going to be a hypocrite and diss him for returning to TNA and not signing with the WWE. I know hypocrites out there will hate on him for doing it. But at the same time to call this shocking is pretty absurd, and actually par for the course for TNA.
